VZN LLP, a ten-attorney business law firm in Southern California, is seeking motivated, independent candidates to join its transactional corporate practice. This position will primarily handle corporate governance, Seed and Series A-stage fundraisings, and commercial transactions. While lateral California attorneys with 4-7 years experience are preferred, all experience levels are invited to apply.

Position Overview

This position will primarily be focused on corporate transactions (including Seed,  Series A, Series B, and bridge financing rounds), operating agreement and bylaw drafting, and corporate governance. There will be opportunities for significant direct client contact and to expand practice areas within the firm’s structure. Successful VZN LLP employees are organized, strategic, and comfortable working on tight deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is dependent on experience and achieving billing targets. VZN LLP promotes a transparent structure and ties compensation to billable rates, yield, and other factors to account for exemplary performance. This position is available immediately. Candidates will be interviewed as they apply, and there can be some flexibility on start date depending on the circumstances. The position is hybrid and based out of Los Angeles, although exceptional candidates located in other locations will be considered, and there are colleagues throughout Southern California.
