Greg Hanoian

Greg Hanoian is a partner at VZN LLP focused on corporate, employment, and dispute resolution practices. His corporate experience includes financings, acquisitions, corporate governance, founder disputes, and exits across numerous business sectors, including for startups, retail businesses, hospitality, biotech, ecommerce brands, and more. Greg also leads VZN LLP’s employment practice, manages complex pre-litigation disputes, and assists many clients as outside general counsel. In that capacity, he advises on litigation management, vendor relationships, operational compliance and risk, and many other business facets.

Greg joined VZN LLP as its second attorney in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he was a litigator representing Fortune 50 clients in complex employment claims and commercial litigation ranging from mass arbitrations and class actions to single-plaintiff discrimination claims.

Greg’s legal background is diverse and includes clerkships for Chief Judge Cynthia Bashant and Judge Dana Sabraw in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He also worked with the California Court of Appeal and the California Department of Justice. Although focused on transactional work at VZN LLP, he has argued before the California Court of Appeal and successfully represented his clients on appeal before the Ninth Circuit of the United States.
