Harjot Kaur is an attorney at VZN LLP who advises startups and growth-stage companies on venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. She works closely with founders and investors through all phases of the deal process, from term sheet negotiation and structuring through closing and post-closing matters. Her practice has a particular focus on technology companies, with additional experience across consumer and hospitality industries.

Before joining VZN LLP, Harjot was a corporate associate at Cooley LLP in Palo Alto, where she represented early and late-stage companies and investors in venture capital financings and general corporate matters. Her prior litigation experience gives her a practical, risk-aware perspective that strengthens her transactional work.

Harjot graduated cum laude from UC Law San Francisco, where she served as an editor of the Hastings Business Law Journal. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy from UC Berkeley. Harjot is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
